Profile
Personalize the account details teammates see across Attia.
Overview
Your profile is where teammates, hiring managers, and collaborators recognize you across Attia. It controls the personal details shown in comments, assignments, activity, candidate profile handoffs, and workspace membership lists.
Use it to keep your identity clear and current. A complete profile makes ownership easier to understand and reduces the small moments of coordination friction that slow teams down.
Set your profile picture

The default avatar uses the initials from your name. To replace it with a photo, open Settings > Account > Profile, hover over the avatar, and choose the edit action.
Upload a clear image that helps teammates identify you quickly. Square images work best because Attia crops avatars into compact circles throughout Attia.
After you add a profile picture, you can replace it with a new one. If your workspace has strict identity or compliance requirements, choose an image that matches your organization’s internal policy.
Name and username
Your name and username help other people mention, assign, and recognize you. Use your real working name when possible, and choose a username that is short enough to scan in activity feeds.

Attia uses full names where clarity matters and usernames where the interface needs a compact handle. Your profile should support both modes:
| Field | How it is used |
|---|---|
| Name | Displayed in people lists, account settings, and areas where clarity matters. |
| Username | Used for compact mentions, search, and places where space is limited. |
| Avatar | Shown beside comments, assignments, ownership, and audit-friendly activity. |
Email address
Your email address is the unique account identifier Attia uses for sign-in and workspace membership. If you belong to more than one workspace with the same account, changing the email updates the account identity used by those workspaces.
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
You join Workspace A with jane@example.com. | Attia creates an account for jane@example.com and a workspace membership in Workspace A. |
| You join Workspace B with the same account. | Attia adds another workspace membership to the same account. |
You change the account email to jane@company.com. | Future sign-in and workspace membership references use jane@company.com. |
Change your email address
To change your email address:
- Open Settings > Account > Profile.
- Choose the edit action next to your email address.
- Enter the new email address.
- Confirm the change from the verification emails sent to the old and new addresses.
Changing the email address changes the identity for every workspace that uses the same Attia account. If you need a separate identity for one workspace, ask a workspace admin to invite the other email address as a separate member before you leave the old membership.
If your organization is changing domains for many members at once, contact Attia support from the existing company domain and include the domain you want to move to.
Connected accounts
Connected accounts link your Attia user to services where each person has their own identity. These connections help Attia attribute actions correctly when a third-party integration sends activity back to the workspace.
Open Settings > Account > Connected accounts to review connected accounts and disconnect integrations you no longer use.
Leave your workspace

To leave a workspace, open Settings > Account > Profile and choose Leave workspace. Once you leave, you lose access to that workspace immediately.
If you leave by mistake, a workspace admin must restore your membership before you can access the workspace again.
