Overview
This guide introduces the features most teams use, in the order hiring happens. You plan the role, work the applications and then read the numbers.
Each section links to the article with the detail. For a guide by company size, see How to use Attia.
Plan
Jobs
A job is one role you are hiring for, such as "Backend engineer" or "Store manager, Bergen". It carries a status, a priority, a start date and a target date, and it can have one lead. Working with jobs explains who can create one.
Job templates
A job template holds the setup for a role you hire for more than once. Templates exist for the whole workspace and for each team, so every new job of a kind starts the same way.
Job updates
A job update tells everyone how a role is going. It carries a health, On track, At risk or Off track, and your text. Updates live on the job's Activity tab, and the newest one shows on the Overview tab under Latest update.
Job views
A custom view of jobs saves a set of filters and display settings under a name. Common ones are the roles with a target date this quarter and all the jobs of one team. A jobs view is personal, or shared with the workspace or a team. A saved jobs view can go in your favorites, which sit in your sidebar.
Hire
Applications
An application is one candidate's submission to one job. It is where the team keeps track of the candidate and talks about them, in notes on the application itself.
Each application moves through the statuses of its team. It can have an assignee and labels.
Deadlines
An SLA puts a deadline on an application and shows how much time is left. On Business and Enterprise, rules can set one automatically.
Duplicates
Every team has a Duplicate status, for an application that repeats another one. See Application statuses.
Custom views
A custom view works for applications too. Filter a team's applications, for example to one status, and save the result. Filters lists what you can filter on.
Insights
Insights is Attia's reporting. It is available on the Business and Enterprise plans.
Insights draws a chart of the records in a list. Three menus decide what it draws: Show, Group by and Split by. Export insights as CSV… downloads the figures, so you can work on them in a spreadsheet.
