Attia Agent
Chat with the agent, mention it in a private note, and save skills and guidance it follows.
Overview
Attia Agent answers questions about your hiring work and does some of it for you. Ask it to sum up where a job stands, to draft a job from a hiring need, or to tidy the labels on a set of applications.
You reach it in two ways: a chat, which Cmd/Ctrl J opens from anywhere in the app, and a mention in a private note on an application.
This article covers how to use it. AI at Attia covers what it can read and change, where it stops, and which actions wait for your approval.
Setup
Attia Agent is on in every new workspace.
A workspace owner or admin can turn it off with Enable Attia Agent in Settings > AI & Agents > Attia Agent. Everyone else sees the switch greyed out, with Only workspace admins can change this. Guests cannot change it either.
Chat
A new chat opens on the full page. Before you write anything, it shows Get started with some examples: Create a new job, Personalize the career site, and either Save a shared skill on a paid plan or Create a job template on Free. Selecting a card puts its prompt in the box and waits for you to finish it. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Start a new chat for each new topic, so the agent works from that topic alone. New chat is the first row in Chat history.

Chat history
Chat history lists your earlier chats under Today, Yesterday, Last week and Older. Type in the box at the top to search: it matches a chat's title and its opening message. A dot marks a chat with a reply you have not read.
Only you can see your chats.
Attia Agent in private notes
Type @ in a private note on an application, or in a reply to one, and pick Attia Agent. Anyone who can post the note can mention the agent. It works with that person's access, never more.
The answer arrives as a new private note on the same application, not as a reply under yours. Use it to sum up an application's history, list what is still open, or draft a handover for the next assignee.
A message to the candidate cannot mention the agent.
Skills
A skill is a saved prompt you can run again. Write one when you notice you are typing the same request every week.
Personal skills
Your own skills live in Settings > Agent personalization, under Skills. Select New skill to write one, or ask the agent in a chat to save what you just did as a skill.
To run a skill, select Skills in the chat box, or type / at the start of a message, and pick it from the list.
Team skills
A team can share skills with everyone on it. They live on the team's settings page under Agent skills, and every member of the team can run them.
The team's Agent skills management permission decides who can create, change and delete them. By default that is every team member who is not a guest. Team owners explains the permission and who always passes it.
From a chat to a team skill
A good skill usually starts as a chat that worked. Save it as a personal skill, use it for a few weeks and adjust the wording. Once it gives the same useful result every time, save it as a team skill so the rest of the team gets it too.
Guidance
Guidance is standing instructions the agent follows in every chat you start: how you like answers written, which details to always include, what to leave out.
Write yours in Settings > Agent personalization, under Guidance. View version history lists your earlier versions, and you can restore one. A change applies to your next chat, not one already open.
