Peek
Press Space on a team's Applications list to read an application beside the list without opening it.
Overview
Peek shows the details of one application in a panel beside the list, so you can read through a team's applications without opening each one. It works on a team's Applications list, for anyone who can see that list. Peek only shows the application. Nothing in it changes when you look.

Keyboard
Space opens peek on the application under your cursor. Space again closes it.
↑ and ↓, or J and K, move to the next or previous application, and peek shows that one instead.
Esc closes peek.
Mouse
Peek opens from the keyboard only. Once it is open, drag its left edge to make it wider or narrower.
Where peek works
Peek works on a team's Applications list: the Active and All tabs and the team's saved applications views. The list has to be in the Table or List layout. On the Board layout Space does nothing, and switching a list to Board closes an open peek.
The Jobs list, the Candidates list, My Applications and the applications on a job's own page have no peek.
Basics
Open and close peek
Point at an application, or move to it with the arrow keys, and press Space. Peek slides in from the right side of the page.
Press Space again or Esc to close it. While peek is open, Esc closes peek first. A second Esc clears your selection, if you have one.
Peek also closes by itself when its application leaves the list, for example when a filter hides it or someone archives or deletes it.
Move between applications
With peek open, press ↑ or ↓, or J or K. The highlight moves to the next application in the list and peek follows it, so you can work down the list one key at a time.
To open the highlighted application in full, press Enter or O.
What peek shows
From the top, peek shows:
- The job the application is for
- The candidate's name
- One line of properties: the status and how long the application has been in it, the review score, the assignee, the date the candidate applied, and the labels. A property without a value is left out, and the review score only shows when the workspace uses a review scale.
- The candidate's files: the CV first, then any files they gave on the application form, then their other documents. Click a file to open it in the same preview window the application page uses.
- The application's Private summary and notes. Peek cuts a long text off at the bottom, so open the application to read all of it.
You cannot edit anything inside peek. Open the application to change it. See Edit applications for how.
Resize peek
Drag the left edge of peek to change its width. Attia remembers the width on this device and uses it the next time peek opens. Peek is never wider than 86% of the window. It is never narrower than 320 pixels either, unless the window is too narrow for that.
Find the shortcut
Press ? to open Keyboard shortcuts. Space is listed there as Peek, under Rows.
